Welcome to my website, I am Maria. I am based in Donegal. I am passionate about photography especially wildlife and nature. My photography is unique because I like to get up close and personal with the birds. I enjoy photographing birds and nature as I like to be outdoors.
Just last week four of my photographs were exhibited in First Fortnight/Donegal Wellness café at An Grianan Theatre, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
Recently one of my photographs 'Catching the Wind' was selected to be exhibited for the Glebe Gallery Open Easter Art Competition. Opening night was Good Friday and the exhibition was for one week at the Glebe House and Gallery, Churchill, Co. Donegal.

Fifty of my photographs have been featured on TV3/Virgin Media TV. My photograph of Ards and Rosguill were on BBC One Northern Ireland weather forecast. My photographs have been shared on Social media by RTE, TG4, BBC One Northern Ireland, Donegal Page, Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter, Letterkenny Page, Donegal East Tourism, Donegal Tourism, Letterkenny Tidy Towns, Donegal News and Oakfield Park. Also, fourteen of my photographs and an article about my photography got featured in the local paper the Donegal News . One of my photographs got featured in the LYIT college calendar and one for the Letterkenny Tidy towns calander. I had an end of year Graduate Exhibition to showcase my work to the public in the Regional Culture center in Letterkenny, Co, Donegal.

In May 2018, my photograph of Rathmullan beach was shortlisted into the final twenty-two in the Remote Photo Festival Exhibition. It was judged by Jamie Welford who is the senior photo editor of the National Geographic Magazine. It was exhibited in Kinnegar Brewery in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
